ACTA/Keys
As a member you can purchase a fob / key / RFID tag to give you access to the space 24/7. They currently cost €21.50 (while we have stock, ACTA increased the price), and we buy them back when you leave the space.
The two readers on the way to the space only need the fob, the one on the door to the space will also need a code, more info on this here.
Fobs, and by extension the data they contain, are personal and cannot be given or lent to someone else.
How do I return my fob?
If you can still go to the space, whether because your membership isn't over just yet or during when the space is open to guests, do as follows. There are pre-filled small forms close to the safe (under the revbank screen), fill one with your nickname, date and check "Fob return" (or do so on a piece of paper should we ran out). Put it in an envelope (provided) with the fob, and slide it into the safe.
Otherwise, send it via post to TechInc administrative address, with an indication of your nickname.
Assuming you have no overdue payment, you will receive a reimbursment according to the fob's state soon enough.
My fob doesn't let me in anymore
First, make sure there is no email from board in the mail address you gave them. It could be there was some payment issue and board tried to reach you but got no answer after 3 monthly reminders, and thus disabled your membership (thus fob). If it's been long enough there will also be a fob reactivation fee which ACTA invoices.
In any case contact the board.
I lost my fob / my fob is broken
Meet with board to buy a new one.
Privacy
ACTA keeps logs on the readers outside the space. The reader on our door keeps logs, and are accessible by the people maintaining the reader. Board can temporarily get real-time logs of scanned fobs, which we use to identify bought/returned fobs. Boards can also get historical logs, although this is not automatic.
Only the board maintains an association between fobs ids and members. IIRC it is agreed with ACTA that if there is an incident and one of our fobs might be involved, they can ask the board to reveal who it belongs to.
