- The speakers should be hanged properly
- These speakers are much heavier than the old ones
- please don't hang them from conduits or pipes!
- make a proper mount in the ceiling
- The amp should be moved near the mixing board
- This should alleviate the problems with electrical interference on the line to the amp, and ultimately rid us of the annoying ~10KHz beep
- Alternatively, replace the current cables with shielded cable
