A weekly members meeting for organising things to do with the space. From 4:45pm till 5:15 pm every Sunday.

About Members Meetings

  • The meetings are 30 minutes long.
  • Items that are discussed for more than 5 minutes will be cut short and discussion can continue after the meeting.

Agenda

Add items for the agenda below:

  • Dispute resolution group
  • Cleaning the space
  • Hosting the techinc wiki/website
  • Regular food/drink orders
  • Funding/Pledges for preparing the new space

Minutes

  • Dispute resolution group

Noone at the meeting was interested in being a part of the dispute resolution group. Suggest this is asked on the mailing list.

  • Cleaning the space

Suggestion to hire someone (by mattronix) - this has been suggested before and been rejected by members.

Suggestion for once a month cleaning/fixing sessions - possibly on a sunday.

Suggestion for shaming those who never show up for the cleaning. Others thought this was too harsh.

Worth having a procedure for closing up including cleaning instructions, removing trash, etc.

  • Hosting the techinc wiki/website

Should we have a vps for hosting the wiki/website (currently with justa)?

Suggestion of colocating (with mattronix's hardware).

PC Extreme apparently may offer some free space (with nothing expected in return apparently). More details needed.

Questions about power in the space, how much we pay - how much we can use (with members agreement). Action point to have more information on this at the next meeting.

  • Regular food/drink orders

No volunteers to arrange this still (should be asked on mailist list too).

  • Funding/Pledges for preparing the new space

Its not clear how projects like the new space should/could be funded. Some is coming from pledges and other items are being funded by private donations or even going around with a hat to collect change. We need a good way to decide if something can be funded by the space funds or if this is not something the members want.
