PirateBox.. Arrrr

To create a clone of the original piratebox with spare devices I have laying around. I will list the devices and tools you can use too to build your own! Or list which devices you used!

I used the Zolid mobile router which was sold at the Aldi stores a while back, which are rebranded devices from Amigo (3R161N) also known as 3g11nmrw and as the E-Top 3r161n. Zolid. If you did not reflash the device with any other firmware, you can get shell by going to 192.168.1.254/obama.asp. You can fire up telnetd with telnetd -l /bin/sh and get instant root access.

Below I collected some links from various clones which still has firmware online, maybe I can roll my own firmware and upload that to the device without bricking it 8)

Item Cost
Zolid 40~ euro
