Foodcoop Amsterdam is a group of people who buy directly from the most sustainable farmers, fishermen, hunters and artisan suppliers and together do the work of the middlemen. We do this to give the suppliers a fair price for the amazing stuff they do and make sustainable (organic) food affordable also for families with low incomes.
The foodcoop is just starting up and currently working on improving Foodsoft, a web application that facilitates the order process, which is available as free software for use by similar coops.
