The first in what will hopefully become a series of workshops in programming. It is a "make it as open a possible" event, so please bring your interested friends, families and goldfishes.

The event will focus at beginners, but it is important to note that it won't be a "everything is fun and Disney like" workshop.

We will try to teach programming in python in such a way that it will be accessible and fun for starters and show them how powerful it can be without moving away from day to day programming as you may expedience it.

Although the event is for beginners more advanced programmers are also welcome with questions, for a quick update on python or to help others.

More info will follow, in the meantime, will could still use some help.

If you are interested in the workshop or you may know some people, you can mail to control-k@squat.net

Materials

Please bring a laptop with you. A Unix system is highly recomended (Linux, OSX etc.). If you dont have a laptop please mail us in advance, we will make sure there is a workstation for you.
