In the kitchen-area there used to be a firehose. This was removed and now left a big hole in the wall.
This needs to be filled or at least used efficiently.
Perhaps a spice-cabinet can be made inside it.
The place of the kitchen is constrained by where the drain pipes must(can!) be. Likewise, it might be that the sink needs to be in front of that hole, or partly. We don't know that exactly, yet. So planning any cabinet there may, or may not, be possible.
