Cryptography and Anonymity are one thing, but there are many security cases where you want convince people that the data doesn't exist. Proving data doesn't exist is always harder than the other way around, you could after always have the data in that microsd card you might have under your toenail, better to remove them all.
This project is foster discussion and development on systems where it's more likely that the data doesn't exist than that it is.
