Intro to x86 Assembly Video Day

• 11 AM - Sunday April 6th
  • We will watch as many of the videos as time permits (or until people get sick of it): http://opensecuritytraining.info/IntroX86.html

Summary

• Today wound up being a combined CTF training for Knuffelhackers AND for the 6 person Women in Cyber Security (WiCS) team.
  • Because WiCS attendees were far outnumbering Knuffelhacker attendees, I modified the videos we watched a bit, to make the content a bit higher-level

• We watched these 2 intro to CTF videos:
  • DEFCON 14: The Making of atlas: Kiddie to Hacker in 5 Sleepless Nights
  • DEFCON 17: Maximum CTF: Getting the Most Out of Capture the Flag

• And these 2 intro to x86 Assembly videos:
  • Day 1 Part 1: Introductory Intel x86: Architecture, Assembly, Applications
  • Day 1 Part 2: Introductory Intel x86: Architecture, Assembly, Applications

• The WiCS team members (not the Knuffelhackers) also played the Over The Wire Bandit Wargame
