Notes

• This is almost a completely different crowd than last time! (9 people)
  • Some have quite a lot of experience, some have quite a bit less
  • This will keep things interesting!

• We spent today playing the wargame: http://io.smashthestack.org
  • Most people spent their time on Levels 1 and/or 2
  • We put a lot of emphasis on getting to know GDB

• Homework for next time:
  • Have a look at Chapter 2 ('Programming') of the book Hacking: The Art of Exploitation
  • Have a look at the GDB Tips page, and the GDB manual
